Dieting doesn’t have to be so hard.????Doing this for 15 minutes each day can help you lose weight.????Let me spell it out for you.????Keeping a food diary is a recipe for success.????Tracking your meals for at least 15 minutes a day can help you slim down.????Take it from researchers at the University of Vermont.????They tracked 142 people for 6 months.????Each participant logged the calories of what they ate and drank, as well as the prep and portion sizes.????The most successful participants lost 10% of their body weight and spent an average of 23.2 minutes per day on self-monitoring in the first month.????By the end, they were clocking just under 15 minutes a day.????Researchers say self-monitoring is key.????Those who self-monitored three or more times a day were the most successful.????It’s even easier to log meals with the many dietary monitoring apps now available.????Unhealthy choices are highlighted when they’re in black and white.????Losing weight is simple when you read between the lines.
