Trump to Nominate Emergency Management Chief

According to Reuters, President Donald Trump is planning on nominating Jeffrey Byard, a senior official at the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency, to be the agency's administrator.

Byard would be replacing Brock Long who announced his resignation this week.

Long has been widely praised for his work at a when the United States faced a severe string of natural disasters.
