President Trump Reopens Government For Three Weeks

The shutdown is finally coming to a close, at least temporarily.

CNN reports President Donald Trump announced Friday that he will allow the government to reopen for three weeks.

The president has given the Democrats what they asked for: to open the government now and negotiate over border security at a later date.

On Friday, airports across the country announced delays as TSA employees called in sick in unprecedented numbers.

The partial shutdown was the longest government shutdown in US history.
