Karolina Pliskova Advances After Stealing Serena Williams' Lead

Serena Williams insists that she did not choke after Business Insider reports that she "threw away a 5-1 lead" in the third set of an Australian Open against Karolina Pliskova.

After the Wednesday match, the tennis veteran instead admitted that Pliskova "played her best tennis ever." Serena explains, "I stayed aggressive.

She just literally hit the lines on some of them.

One she hit an ace, an unreturnable serve...I can't say that I choked on those match points.
