Lunar Eclipse Celebrations Cancelled Due to Cold Weather

According to Reuters, many lunar eclipse festivities have been canceled due to freezing temperatures that are taking across the central and northeastern United states.

Reports have been focusing on icy roadways rather than on cloudy skies for spoiling the party.

Star gazers from Los Angeles to New York had originally anticipated to get together at parks and observatories to keep their eyes on the sky for the total eclipse.

A total lunar eclipse is known as a super blood wolf moon.

The eclipse is expected to appear tonight at 11:41 p.m.
