'Game of Thrones' Premiere Date Revealed in New Teaser Trailer

Winter is coming.

The 8th and final season of the HBO series will debut on April 14.

The trailer released Sunday night featured Jon Snow, Sansa and Arya Stark in the catacombs of Winterfell.

The three siblings appear to be reunited in front of death statues of themselves.

Suddenly, the light from their torches blows out and ice creeps through the tunnel, hinting at the arrival of the White Walkers.

The final season will consist of only six episodes, but some may be up to 90 minutes.

The season will begin with the arrival of Daenerys Targaryen and her army in Winterfell, according to 'Entertainment Weekly.'

The final season will build up to the long-anticipated battle between the people of Westeros and the army of the dead.
