Girl Scouts Wildcat

A group of girls who left behind girl scouts, stuck together and kept their spirit of service alive by earning a "make the world a better place" patch.

The girls disbanded from their daisy-brownie girl scout troop last year--- but managed to raise over five hundred dollars by selling girl scout cookies.

Earlier today, the group presented those funds to wildcat glades.

Officials say that money will help make the park a better place.

"that actually can go quite a ways when you're cleaning up the trail and we would really like to do something special for these girls because i think its important to teach kids at a young age that they do make a difference which is why they did this" wildcat glades plans on using the money to buy new bird feeders and remove grafitti.
