US Stocks End 2018 Trading Lower

According to Reuters, stocks on Wall Street are trading up on the last day of the year.

But the top three markets on the New York Stock Exchange have weathered a rough 2018.

After beginning the year on the rise, supported by an unprecedented year of growth in 2017, stocks began to flounder by early February, and they haven't fully recovered since.

Although they managed to report new record highs in September, the markets have retreated to their lowest levels since last year.
