China Says Goal Of Trade Talks With U.S. Is To Remove All Tariffs

According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, China's commerce ministry said that the ultimate goal in Sino-US trade talks is to remove all tariffs, while adding that the recent meeting between US President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping had been a success.

Last weekend, Trump and Xi reportedly agreed to a 90-day truce that delayed the planned January 1st tariff hike while they attempt to negotiate a trade deal.
