Supreme Court Will Take On Issue Of Trump's Attorney General Appointment

The US Supreme Court is now handling President Donald Trump’s appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general.

Reuters reports lawyers are set to ask the justices on Fridayif the action was lawful.

Critics have said the president’s appointment of Whitaker violated the Constitution and federal law.

Trump's appointment will now oversee Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s role in the 2016 U.S. election.

He fired Jeff Sessions on November 7.
