Study Reveals Nearly 50% of Working Women are Uncomfortable Repeating Outfits

Work stress is all apart of the job.

Whether you’re frantic over a big presentation ??or turning in a project just in the nick of time.

??But should your work clothes make you just as anxious?

??A new study from Thrive Global and Business of Fashion reported nearly 50 percent of women??Have felt self-conscious repeating work outfits.

??According to Business of Fashion, the study surveyed 2,700 women from over 20 countries about their work-clothes habits.??With 60 percent of the women surveyed being between 25 and 44 years old and 10 percent were over 55.

??According to Thrive Global, other findings in the study include those who answered ??They were not happy or satisfied at work, 55 percent of them said what they wear to work did not portray who they really are.

??But those who answered their attire positively affected their career; ??66 percent said the work outfit they wore represented who they really are.

??Business of Fashion reported the survey also found 29 percent said they have spent over $500 on work clothes in the last 6 months.??The subject of the survey is a part of Thrive Global’s hashtag repeats campaign.

??According to Thrive Global, the message of the campaign is to celebrate and owning the idea of women being able to repeat outfits.??“Affording women the same freedom (in the form of time and money and thought)...??“that men have in putting together their outfits for the day.”??????????
