Your Cardiologist Won't Like This New Apple Watch Feature

Apple fans are freaking out about the new Apple Watch Series 4.

But someone that might not be too excited about the new wearable is your cardiologist.????The new heart-monitoring feature allows users to track their heart rhythms and detect signs of atrial fibrillation, which is the most common type of irregular heartbeat and can lead to heart problems and stroke.????But medical professionals are not sure how helpful will the information be to apple watch users.????According to Marketwatch, cardiologists doubt the watch could correctly point to atrial fibrillation, which is not that easy to diagnose, especially since the watch uses 1 electrode to measure heart rhythm and by contrast a medical-grade ECG typically uses 12.????And let’s be honest, people that are going to be using the apple watch are probably in their late 20’s and mayl not really be worried about having heart issues.????So it will probably mean a bunch of millennials are going to be rushing to the ER for no reason... ??
