Iowa leaders respond to NFL protests

Football league got political this weekend and now iowa leaders are responding.

At almost every game yesterday, players took a knee, or locked arms during the national anthem.

It came after president trump made repeated calls to punish n-f-l players who protested.

Iowa governor kim reynolds says the protests are against everything she believes.

"i was raised to pay respect to the flag.

That is the symbol that stands for the men and women who have put their life on the line to protect the liberty and freedom that we have the opportunity to enjoy every single day."
