A local talent out of burges high school, jones was underrated as a recruit, but it gave him the chance to play his college ball across the street.

Aaron jones: "being here in front of people i went to high school with; coaches, family, friends, it's definitely a big thing.

I've been showing kids from el paso can play football."

Andy morgan: with his twin brother by his side, football has become family at utep.

Aaron jones: "it means a lot to play with alvin.

That's been our goal ever since we were little.

We wanted to play together in college."

Alvin jones: "not a lot of people get to do that.

If they do, they're not as close as we are.

He live together.

Been roommates, lived in the dorms together, lived together since we were little, and it's like nothing's changed."

Andy morgan: their relationship hasn't changed, but this duo has become dynamic.

Alvin is utep's top defensive player, while aaron's making history at running back.

Jones ranks 4th in the country with nearly 1,400 rushing yards; he passed john harvey on utep's all-time rushing record last week, something he's been eyeing for a while.

Aaron jones: "i've wanted to do that since i signed my letter of intent.

I went on the internet and looked up all the records.

To finally break it, your goals do come true if you work hard."

Sean kugler: "the reason he's so good is he's one of the best workers i've ever been around.

He's got a lot of talent, but he works at it too.

Those are the ones who are special."

Andy morgan: jones is already a hot topic for many nfl scouts and gm's, but sti snere yearfigibility left foroing his seniorasoto enter t aying in the nfl has always been a e of his.
