Jennifer Aniston is stepping into the boxing ring to help herself get fit and release some built-up tension.

The former 'Friends' star has tried a lot of different workouts in the past, noting that "variety is key" for her.

But in 2017 she tried her hand at boxing, and it turns out that she loves it.

Jen revealed that it's the form of exercise she's done consistently for the longest period of time other than yoga.

In a recent interview, Aniston explained that, for her, "there's something about the mental aspect of boxing.

The drills, your brain has to work… you're not just sitting on a bike".

She also confessed that "boxing is a great way to get aggression out".

She says that while you're in the ring, "you get a mental release of all this crap you're taking into you ears and eyes every day, and have little fantasy moments imagining who you're actually punching".

Of course Jennifer would never want to really punch someone, and though she says there is one person she frequently pictures herself pummeling during her sessions, she won't reveal who it is.
