Henry Cavill Apologizes for Comments He Made About #MeToo
TheWrap reported that “Justice League” actor Henry Cavill issued an apology for comments he made to GQ Australia about the #MeToo movement.
The comments sparked criticism and Cavill released a statement on Twitter through his spokeswoman on Thursday.
He said that he would never "intend to disrespect in any way, shape or form" and that the experience has taught him about "context and the nuance of editorial liberties."
The 35-year-old actor is currently on a press tour for “Mission Impossible: Fallout."
