According to a report by Mother Nature Network, ice loss in Antarctica's ice sheets, which contain enough water to raise sea levels by an unprecedented 190 feet, is rapidly on the rise.

According to a study published in Nature, since 2012 the rate of ice loss in the Antarctic has tripled.
