A Southwest plane makes terrifying emergency after an engine fails mid-flight

A Southwest Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing mid flight.

The plane was scheduled to be flying from New York to Dallas, Texas but had to land in Philadelphia when one of its engines fell off mid flight.

The malfunction caused a window to break and the cabin to depressurize, and it is even being reported that one female passenger on the plane has been injured.

There is no word on why the malfunction happened, but Southwest Airlines did issue a statement saying that its priority right now is the safety of its passengers and crew, and that their will be more details in the following hours..
