Ed Sheeran was forced to cancel his St.

Louis concert due to safety concerns over protests in the city.

Sheeran's promoters feared that the concert was understaffed amid violence in the city.

"While we regret to have had to come to this decision, we do look forward to returning to St.

Louis as soon as Ed’s schedule will allow in 2018.".
