New details have surfaced surrounding the official launch date of Samsungs long awaited Galaxy Note 8.

The head of Samnsung's Mobile Division Dongiin Koh reportedly said the launch date will be revealed at the end of August.

Speaking to ePrice, Koh did not give an exact date of that announcement on the launch but rumors have been floating that the Note 8 would land on August 23 – a date which lines up with this recent news.

Consumers won't actually be able to purchase the phone on that tentative August date, Koh has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would go on sale in the first wave of countries in early September, with more being added in October..
