In a 41-33 victory, the Philadelphia Eagles swooped to victory to become Super Bowl champions, seizing the trophy in an event watched by millions around the world. Some will remember the Super Bowl for the commercials and trailers that drop in between – but it’s the football that matters.
Cloverfield 3 Drops Suddenly
The Cloverfield saga continued suddenly via Netflix this week after the Eagles’ victory, meaning that thirst for a new movie in the line of alien invasion flicks was finally quenched. It may not be claiming the big critical wows that the first two movies seized – but it’s thought we’ll be getting a fourth instalment on the big screen in a few years’ time.
All Eyes on Trump’s… Scalp?
Yes – while the US President may have been claiming headlines left right and center for his policies and his use of Twitter in his first year in office, a freak gust of wind allowed the press to publish an unflattering photo of the back of the President’s head which quickly ascended into viral status. Yes – we are at such a point where the state of the President’s hairline is headline-grabbing in the most frantic way!
Winter Olympics Launch

Elon Musk Sends a Car to Space
It really does seem to have been a week for sudden, surprise news – and Elon Musk and SpaceX took the opportunity to launch a road vehicle into the stratosphere earlier this week to online astonishment. A Tesla Roadster, manned by a mannequin referred to as Starman, took to the skies via the Falcon Heavy rocket – which will hopefully hold the key to space travel for years to come. The photos sent back are incredible!
