Coronavirus in numbers: UK confirmed deaths at 45,961
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said 45,961 people had died inhospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive forcoronavirus in the UK as of 5pm on Tuesday, up by 83 from the day before.
