Mexico pushes back after top U.S. court favors Trump on shunning migrants

Mexico pushed back on Thursday against a U.S. Supreme Court ruling granting a Trump administration request to fully enforce a new rule curtailing asylum applications by immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border, one that could create a new headache for Mexico.

Immigration Advocates Protest Against US Supreme Court Ruling
The U.S. Supreme Court allowed President Donald Trump to deny asylum seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump’s asylum rule requires immigrants seeking asylum to first ask a third country they travel through. According to reuters, the Mexican government and immigrant advocates protested the decision. Advocates said the decision endangers the lives of migrants, many fleeing gang and domestic violence in Central America.
