Petrochemical fire reignites at fuels storage facility outside Houston

A petrochemical fire flared anew on Friday at a massive fuel storage facility on the Houston Ship Channel, compounding efforts to halt a chemicals leak at the Mitsui & Co.'s Intercontinental Terminals facility outside Houston.

Air Quality Concerns Near Site Of Texas Petrochemical Fire
Just one day after a fire at a petrochemicals storage facility near Houston was extinguished, there are now serious concerns about air quality in the area. A Shelter-in-Place has been issued for the City of Deer Park due to increased levels of benzene, and other volatile organic compounds, in the air.
