Residents of two Houston-area cities were told to stay indoors and schools in six communities were closed on Thursday due to air pollution after a petrochemical plant fire.

Fire At Texas Chemical Plant Is Finally Out
The fire that was burning at petrochemical plant near Houston since Sunday is officially out. Officials withΒ Intercontinental Terminals Company issued a statement early Wednesday saying the fire was extinguished as of 3:00 a.m.
