Trump grounds 737 Max 8 jets

President Trump announced Wednesday the FAA would ground all Boeing 737 Max planes. The decision comes after an Ethiopian Airlines crash killed 157 people. Kris Van Cleave has the latest.

Southwest Shares Fall After Trump Grounds Boeing 737 Max Jets
President Donald Trump announced that all boeing 737 Max jets would be grounded immediately. He made this decision after the second deadly crash within five months involving a 737 Max aircraft occurred. According to Business Insider, the announcement caused Southwest Airlines shares to drop. Although American, United and Air Canada have Boeing’s 737 Max aircrafts, Southwest has the largest exposure to them. Southwest lost as much as 3 percent, turning negative, after Trump made his decision.
