India sees record recoveries in single day

India on Wednesday registered its highest ever single-day recoveries from COVID-19 with 28,472 people recovering from the infection in a day, even as 37,724 new cases were added in past 24 hours pushing the total tally to nearly 12 lakh confirmed cases on Wednesday.
