North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected Saturday's test of a new weapon, state media KCNA said on Sunday, as a senior diplomat dismissed the possibility of inter-Korean talks in protest against South Korea-U.S. military drills.

Kim Jong Un Reportedly Oversaw New Weapon
North Korea recently tested a new weapon and leader Kim Jong Un reportedly inspected it. A senior diplomat dismissed the possibility of inter-korean talks in protest of the military drills. According to Reuters, North Korea fired two short-range missiles, its fifth within two weeks. South Korea called the drills a show of force against their drills with the U.S. North Korea called such exercises a β€œrehearsal for war.”
