Brexit delay to May 22 might not be sufficient for UK PM May to pass deal: solicitor general

Britain cannot be certain that delaying Brexit to May 22 would provide enough time to ratify Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal, the government's Solicitor General Robert Buckland said on Tuesday.

According to Business Insider, "Theresa May is heading to Brussels for an emergency Brexit summit on Wednesday, where EU leaders will offer her a long delay to Brexit of up to 12 months.The prime minister is likely to agree to the delay to avoid a no-deal Brexit." Many politician are fiercely against all Brexit delays, and believe Theresa May will struggle to keep her position is she agrees to one.
