According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, an earthen barrier holding chemicals that leaked from a massive petrochemical fire outside Houston breached, prompting travel restrictions around the site, one of the busiest ports for US oil exports. Intercontinental Terminals, a unit of Japan's Mitsui & Co, called for a shelter-in-place around the Deer Park, Texas, fuel storage facility as chemicals were spewing from damaged tanks holding thousands of gallons of fuel.
