Milwaukee Public Museum selects a site near the Deer District for its new home

The Milwaukee Public Museum said Friday that its new home will be in the Haymarket District on the northeast corner of Sixth and McKinley streets. The museum will have the 2.4-acre site adjacent to the Deer District that is accessible via both freeway and bus routes. This comes after the Milwaukee Public Museum and Betty Brinn Children's Museum announced an alliance that would put the two Milwaukee institutions under one roof in the future.
