Portland International Airport is operating but eerily quiet and nearly empty, with passenger volume now at less than a 10th of normal amid the coronavirus outbreak. The airport saw about 51,300 average daily passengers in March 2019. This week, it’s expecting between 3,000 and 5,000 daily, the Port of Portland said Thursday.
