France's Azoulay Selected As UNESCO's New Chief

On Friday, the United Nations' cultural agency chose former French culture minister Audrey Azoulay to be its new chief, following the United States decision to pull out. Azoulay edged out Qatar's Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kawari after the fifth round of voting, placing the final decision up to UNESCO's 195 members to approve on November tenth.
