Trump Will Announce New Strategy For Iran
Wochit Headline News - Friday, 13 October 2017 (6 days ago)
On Friday afternoon President Trump will give a speech outlining a new strategy toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. The new strategy will focus on increasing sanctions and inspections and strengthening the deal structured by President Obama. Instead of scrapping the deal altogether, as he campaigned he would, President Trump hands the ball back to a sharply divided congress. Republicans in Congress who were once opposed to the deal now find themselves trying to preserve, defend, and strengthen the deal while Tea Party hawks and hardlines try to de-certify it.
