'IT' Becomes Highest Grossing September Movie Ever

After raking in over $59 million in its second weekend at the box office, the horror film “It” has now become the highest grossing September film ever. The adaptation of the Stephen King novel breaks a record was previously held by “Crocodile Dundee,” which made $174.8 million in September back in 1984. IT, which has taken in a total of $218 million over 10 days, is also well on pace to become only the fourth R-Rated movie to gross over $300 million domestically.
