Andy Muchietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s It has been breaking records in the box office since its premier last week. Pennywise the dancing clown is played by actor Bill Skarsgard. He appeared on variety's playback podcast and he talked about the movie. one thing that he was disappointed about was a scene that was cut from the movie. he is quoted saying, "“There was a scene we shot that was a flashback from the 1600s, before Pennywise was Pennywise. The scene turned out really, really disturbing. And I’m not the clown. I look more like myself. It’s very disturbing, and sort of a backstory for what It is, or where Pennywise came from."
