His reaction comes after violent protests broke out on Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia, spearheaded by white nationalist groups. According to CNN, Trump tweeted his call for peace, while on a 17-day vacation in New Jersey. But the media outlet added, that he "did not explicitly mention the white nationalist origins of the conflict.
