Last week, Iraq declared victory over ISIS in Mosul and Iraqi troops are clearing the city of remaining fighters. Now, the U.S. and its coalition allies are eyeing the Syrian city of Raqqa, the would-be caliphate's one-time "capital." U.S. Lt. Gen. Townsend says helping the Syrian Democratic Forces in Raqqa is "now job number one." Artillery and airstrikes are being used to back the SDF, a mix of Arab and Kurdish fighters, in their assault on the city.
