Merriam-Webster Says 'Doctor' Has No Gender

On Monday, America's most trusted online dictionary took it to the internet to show that it doesn't mess around with sexism. After the creators of the popular sci-fi show, β€œDoctor Who,” announced Sunday that its 13th doctor would be a woman, many fans expressed their displeasure against the decision. Over Twitter, Merriam-Webster shut down the sexist trolls by saying that " 'Doctor' has no gender in English."
