Iranian President Rouhani's Brother Hospitalized

According to a state-run Iranian news agency, on Monday Hossein Fereydoun, the brother of President Hassan Rouhani, was hospitalized with high blood pressure and tension after appearing in court. On Sunday the judiciary announced that Fereydoun had been arrested on suspicion of "financial irregularities." Fereydoun has acted as a key adviser to Rouhani, who is perceived as a moderate by Western nations and whose first term was marked by an emergent international outreach.
