German Minister Urges U.S. To Back NAFTA During Mexico Visit

During a visit to Mexico on Friday, Germany's foreign minister expressed support for the North American Free Trade Agreement, giving a diplomatic boost to the country before it renegotiates the NAFTA accord with the Trump administration. President Trump has attacked NAFTA for months. On Thursday the Trump administration began the process of overhauling the deal which binds the Unites States, Canada and Mexico.
