Planned Parenthood announced that one third of their clinics in Iowa will be forced to close by June 30th. The women's health service operates 12 clinics in the state. According to a press release from the organization, the four clinics that are closing have served more than 14,600 people over the past three years. But Governor Terry Branstad recently signed a bill that will cut Medicaid funding for any clinics that provided abortion services.
