Report Says Trump Bragged of Comey Firing to Russians

According to The New York Times on Friday, Donald Trump bragged to two top Russian officials during a meeting at the White House last week that firing FBI Director James Comey eased "great pressure" on him. The Times goes on to quote Trump as saying of Comey, "I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job. I faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off.
