'Alien: Covenant' Brings in Over $4 Million Thursday Night

According to a report, Ridley Scott’s 'Alien: Covenant' brought in around $4.2 million at Thursday night previews at the domestic box office. According to Deadline, the $4.2 million for Alien: Covenant, Scott’s third film in the franchise, came from ticket sales in 3,000 locations. The film is expected to expand to at least 3,760 locations on Friday. Movie analysts predict that Covenant will open in the $35 million to $40 million range this weekend, enough to unseat 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
