Fox News Fires Commentator Over Racial Remark

Wochit Headline News - Friday, 19 May 2017
On Friday, Fox News confirmed that it has fired commentator Bob Beckel for making an insensitive remark to a black employee. Beckel, a panelist on the show "The Five," was on his second tour of duty at the network after leaving in 2015 for substance abuse. According to accuser's lawyer, Doug Wigdor, the incident occurred when Beckel said man's race was the reason why he worked on computers at Fox. Wigdor then added that when his client complained to human resources, Beckel attempted to intimidate him into withdrawing the complaint.
