Alien: Covenant is a prequel to the classic 1979 creature feature, Alien. It's also a sequel to 'Prometheus." 'Aliens' fans have been waiting years for a scary, dark, wildly gory Aliens film. While critics enjoyed the monsters, many found the film shallow and boring when the creatures were not on screen. The movie holds a mediocre 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. In her review for Entertainment Tonight, John Boone said the movie was boring and he did not care about the movie's story.
