Ridley Scott's newest Aliens movie, Alien: Covenant, hits theaters today. The movie is a sequel to 2012's Prometheus and a prequel to the Aliens franchise that Scott birthed in 1979. 'Aliens' fans have been waiting years for a scary, dark Aliens film. While critics enjoyed the monsters, many found the film shallow and boring when the creatures were not on screen. The movie holds a mediocre 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. In his review for geek.com, MovieBob hated the film, calling it dull.
