Caitlyn Jenner Will Talk Trump, Trans Issues In TV Interview

Wochit Headline News - Friday, 21 April 2017
Caitlyn Jenner's second interview with Diane Sawyer, two years after the interview she did as she was transitioning, is airing Friday on ABC. The network released a few preview clips of Jenner's interview, in which she talks about her evolved views on same-sex marriage and how she feels about the Republican party's views on transgender issues. "Yes, I did vote for Trump, but here's the deal-breaker with the Republican party. And the deal-breaker is, you mess with my community, you do the wrong thing with our community, you don't give us equality and a fair shot, I'm coming after you." When asked if she's spoken to Trump about trans issues, Jenner said she greeted him at a cocktail party during the inauguration, and Trump asked Jenner to play golf with him. She refused, citing Trump's decision to rescind guidelines protecting transgender students' rights to use the bathroom corresponding with their gender identity.
