Brown University to Honor Robert De Niro

According to an announcement on Friday, the Ivy League school Brown University said it will honor Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro with a doctor of fine arts degree. De Niro will be one of six people scheduled to receive honorary degrees during the school's May 28 graduation ceremonies. The acclaimed actor has been nominated five times for an Academy Award over his prestigious career, notching wins for 1975's "The Godfather: Part II" and 1981's "Raging Bull."
