Barack Obama to Appear at Public Event in Chicago

Following a three-month vacation, former President Barack Obama will reportedly talk with students at the University of Chicago on Monday next week about community organizing and civic engagement. The event marks Obama's first public outing since leaving the White House in January. According to a spokesman for Obama, the former president and Illinois senator, who lived and worked in the city for years, will appear onstage with six high school and college students and graduates.
